The XL6009 module is a non-isolated step-up voltage converter featuring adjustable output voltage and a new generation (XL6009E1 core chip) high-frequency (400KHz) switching technique, offering much better performance than the LM2577. Designed for multiple practical applications that need a boost voltage, such as DIY'ing an output-adjustable mobile power supply, temporarily setting up a power supply outdoors, or charging electronic devices.

The module's input voltage range is DC 3V to 30V, with an optimum working voltage range of 5V to 30V. The output voltage is adjustable from DC 5V to 35V, with a maximum output current of 4A. This ultra-compact power module is simple to operate - users can use a mini screwdriver to step up or down the output voltage by turning the slotted screw on the blue trimpot, and monitor the voltage with a multimeter to achieve the expected voltage. Turning the screw clockwise reduces the voltage, while turning it counterclockwise increases the voltage (one full circle equals a +/- 1V change).
