Boost Module DC-DC Adjustable Module for 3.0-30V to 5-35V Output

The XL6009 is a high-performance, adjustable DC-DC boost module with a switching frequency of 400 kHz and a maximum input current of 4A. It is powered by the 3rd generation of high-frequency switch technology, offering significantly improved performance compared to the LM2577.

This module supports a wide input voltage range of 3V to 32V, with an optimal operating range of 5V to 32V. The output voltage can be adjusted from 5V to 35V. The conversion efficiency can reach up to 94%, which is higher than the LM2577's 3A current rating.

The high switching frequency of 400 kHz allows for the use of smaller filtering capacitors, resulting in a smaller output ripple voltage (50 mV maximum). In contrast, the LM2577 operates at a lower frequency of 50 kHz.

The module also features a 0.1 μF high-frequency bypass capacitor, which effectively filters out any high-frequency noise.
